The Nursing in General Practice program was introduced to:
- To increase the uptake of practice nurses within the Manly Warringah Division of General Practice area – Northern Beaches of Sydney
- To develop a ‘team approach’ to activities within general practice particularly associated with chronic disease management
- To coordinate education and training for nurses interested in practice nursing within the Division area
Services available to nurses provided by the Division
