Mental Health and ATAPS
Aims:- Assist/upskill those GPs who choose to see patients with mental health problems
- Assist with the requirements of the Better Outcomes in Mental Health program
Activities:
- Regular Chapter meetings with specialist speakers
- ATAPS funded groups run by psychologist and GP for panic disorder, stress management, post natal depression and carers.

- Mental Health Library books available for loan to community and members
- Steering Committee to run ATAPS
- Clinical attachments for GP’s in both public and private psychological practice
- Mindfulness based CBT groups for both doctors and patients

- Monthly Mental Health Interest Chapter Meeting
